Estimating Cost for Production Design

We define production design as using an style guide and templates to produce an ongoing issue of a magazine. For production design, where all art is provided, figure on roughly R300 per page and R2,500.00 for the cover design. So for example, production design for a 40-page plus cover magazine will cost approximately R14,500.00. Please note that this does not include printing costs, we will supply you with x3 different quotations for printing once the magazine has been approved.

For production design where art is not provided, art direction will be required to help identify concepts and sources for photos and illustrations. We will provide you with a quote per page if we need to source stock photos and images. We will also provide you with a quote should you need us to design infographics and other graphics.
